Detroit’s 1st Bob Seger tribute band Lookin’ Back has become one of America’s most sought after tributes since their Aug. 2009 debut performance of Live Bullet in its entirety. On August 22, 2024 Michigan’s #1 Bob Seger tribute band celebrates the Golden Anniversary of The Silver Bullet Band on Lookin’ Back’s 15th or their Crystal Anniversary.
A little known fact: Bob Seger 1st introduced the Silver Bullet Band covertly in 1974 by surprising concert-goers immediately following a Bachman Turner Overdrive concert in Ann Arbor, MI - making an hour-long bonus concert for unsuspecting BTO fans! Over the past 50 years, Bob Seger has hired and recorded with countless studio session players as well as Silver Bullet Band members. The Silver Bullet Band is prominently featured on Bob’s only two live albums Live Bullet (76) & Nine Tonight (1981), selling 10M albums combined.
With all this history in mind this 7-piece band has prepared a very special 90-minute show of essential songs entitled “Silver Bullet Band Ricochets” especially for The Pine Performance Center, the location of their 15th Anniversary performance.
